- • Represent all Zoetis Poultry products and services to Broiler key accounts, ensuring maximum customer experience and satisfaction.
- • Achieve and exceed annual gross revenue and margin targets within budgeted expense parameters for assigned key accounts.
- • Coordinate and lead all Zoetis activities within assigned Key Accounts, aligning efforts of Regional Account Managers, veterinarians, and technical support teams across territories.
- • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive account plans for assigned Key Accounts to drive growth and retention.
- • Promote and sell the full portfolio of Zoetis poultry products and services through tailored selling solutions to key decision-makers and influencers.
- • Build and sustain long-term customer loyalty by cultivating strong relationships with key account stakeholders in the Broiler industry.
- • Manage corporate-level and complex communications with customers regarding Zoetis poultry products and services.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between Key Accounts and internal Zoetis teams including Customer Service, Veterinary Services, Marketing, and product support.
- • Provide actionable feedback to Marketing teams to inform and refine marketing plans specific to Key Accounts.
- • Utilize CRM tools to manage key account data, contacts, interactions, and business pipelines effectively.
- • Monitor and forecast monthly changes in customer needs, industry trends, and competitive activity within assigned accounts.
- • Continuously expand professional network within the poultry industry to gain early awareness of customer strategies and opportunities.
- • Assist in the development and mentoring of colleagues to strengthen overall team performance and knowledge sharing.
- • Maintain regular communication with management and team members regarding industry news, account progress, sales objectives, accomplishments, and competitive intelligence.
- • Travel overnight up to 50% of the time to meet with key account teams and conduct field activities.
- • Work in animal environments typical of the poultry production industry.
- • Be regionally located in close proximity to the key decision-making teams of assigned Key Accounts.
- • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to support field-based responsibilities.
- • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project software.
- • Possess strong oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- • Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
- • Promote teamwork and cooperation across internal departments and with external customers.
- • Respond professionally to customer inquiries, complaints, and regulatory communications.
🎯 Requirements
- • Four-year degree in Agricultural Life Science or Agribusiness (experience may be considered in lieu)
- • 10+ years of experience in the Poultry Industry with working knowledge of poultry production
- • 3+ years of selling experience in large, multi-location accounts (5+ years preferred)
- • Significant sales experience and proven ability to grow relationships in large, complex accounts
- • Strong working knowledge of Zoetis poultry products and services
- • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
