- • As a Senior Strategic Advisor in Health Plan Strategy, you will provide detailed assessment of the external market environment, develop insights, and identify opportunities to actualize Blue Cross NC’s mission and vision across multiple time horizons, driving insight-driven decisions and innovation.
- • You will work directly with staff and senior leadership to proactively identify strategic needs, create actionable outputs, drive the strategic development process, and align work with the company’s overall strategic goals.
- • You will build and facilitate partner/vendor relationships to understand value propositions, drive decision-making, and collaborate with business areas to implement initiatives.
- • You will develop and maintain internal and external partnerships to drive complex project work focused on significant business strategies, opportunities, and innovation efforts.
- • You will leverage customer and consumer insights to develop holistic strategies, programs, and plans that drive innovation, business outcomes, and maximize ROI.
- • You will contribute to the development of Health Plan Strategy positions and related annual and long-term planning efforts.
- • You will design and develop the innovation program for Blue Cross NC, act as a “Champion of Innovation,” and drive a culture of innovation across the organization.
- • You will partner with internal clients to identify, plan, and execute innovation efforts, helping them articulate vision, define success, and provide resources for execution.
- • You will identify, analyze, and monitor industry, regulatory, technology, and market trends to determine market entry or exit and ensure alignment with company strategy.
- • You will partner with Commercial, Government, and Shared Services to align roadmaps and health plan strategy.
- • You will build and validate business cases aligned to financial targets and long-term growth objectives.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (where required)
- • 5+ years of experience in a related field
- • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in a related field
- • Demonstrated expertise in developing comprehensive business cases
- • Proven experience presenting complex concepts and recommendations to senior leadership
- • Strong understanding of health plan strategy
