- • Own the pricing desk end-to-end during a 6-8 month maternity leave coverage, managing deal approvals, evaluating pricing exceptions, and escalating complex pricing cases to ensure governance and compliance.
- • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on pricing mechanics, identifying and flagging risks, inconsistencies, or deviations in pricing structures across enterprise deals.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Product, and Business Technology teams to operationalize pricing updates and ensure accurate implementation in systems and processes.
- • Coordinate the rollout of pricing policy changes by developing clear communications, training materials, and enablement resources for the Sales team to ensure consistent adoption.
- • Support active product and packaging evolution by translating pricing strategy into executable workflows that align with business objectives and contractual requirements.
- • Maintain rigorous pricing governance by enforcing approved pricing frameworks, documenting rationale for exceptions, and ensuring audit readiness across all deal approvals.
- • Act as the central point of contact for pricing-related inquiries from global sales teams, providing timely guidance on discounting authority, tiered pricing, and contract terms.
- • Monitor pricing data integrity across CRM and CPQ systems, identifying gaps or discrepancies that could impact revenue forecasting or compliance.
- • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline pricing workflows and reduce manual effort while maintaining control and transparency in deal execution.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving product offerings and packaging structures, ensuring pricing models remain aligned with market positioning and customer value propositions.
- • Balance speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment, making sound judgments on when to resolve pricing issues independently versus escalating for leadership review.
- • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive pricing data and customer-specific deal terms.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing operations by documenting lessons learned, refining playbooks, and sharing best practices across teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Prior experience in a pricing, deal desk, or revenue operations role — ideally in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
- • Strong cross-functional communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders from Sales to Finance to Legal
- • Familiarity with CPQ tools and/or pricing governance frameworks is a plus
