- • Provide senior-level onsite leadership for direct subcontractor workforce, overseeing all field operations, construction management activities, and site performance on large-scale energy savings projects.
- • Act as the primary field leader, coordinating closely with Project Management, Engineering, and client stakeholders to ensure successful execution of multimillion-dollar federal construction projects.
- • Lead project planning efforts in collaboration with the Project Manager, including oversight of the critical path, sequencing, and execution strategy to ensure full compliance with contract documents.
- • Direct and coordinate multiple construction scopes and subcontractors, ensuring alignment of schedules, productivity targets, and quality expectations across all project activities.
- • Supervise the timely, safe, and cost-effective installation of all contracted work, maintaining strict adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- • Develop and execute detailed work plans, look-ahead schedules, and site logistics plans in coordination with project teams to optimize field operations.
- • Provide leadership during pre-construction and early project phases, contributing constructability input, scheduling strategy, and risk identification to enhance project outcomes.
- • Deliver proactive project updates to internal leadership, clients, and stakeholders, identifying potential risks and recommending actionable solutions.
- • Ensure comprehensive understanding and enforcement of owner contracts, subcontracts, and procurement requirements in the field.
- • Lead and enforce safety, quality control, and compliance programs, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and all federal, state, and local regulations.
- • Resolve field issues promptly, drive accountability across teams, and maintain strong, productive relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- • Support overall project success by managing competing priorities, mitigating operational risks, and driving consistent delivery of high-quality construction outcomes.
- • Perform other duties as required to support the successful completion of federal energy efficiency and infrastructure upgrade projects.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School diploma or equivalent
- • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial or government construction
- • OSHA 30-hour Certification
- • CQM Certification
- • Ability to review confidential US security information
- • Extensive experience in mechanical and electrical construction, preferably in complex or federal environments
