- • Senior Supplier Quality Specialist responsible for ensuring supplier components meet stringent quality standards for Shield AI’s advanced defense systems, directly contributing to mission-critical reliability and safety.
- • Day-to-day activities include conducting supplier audits, reviewing inspection reports, managing non-conformances, driving corrective actions, and collaborating with engineering and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
- • Part of a fast-paced, mission-driven quality organization within Shield AI, a venture-backed deep-tech company developing autonomous aircraft and AI-powered systems for national security applications.
- • Opportunity to deepen expertise in aerospace quality standards, supplier management, and continuous improvement methodologies while impacting the reliability of cutting-edge defense technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
- • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, incoming inspection, or manufacturing quality roles
- • Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or other aerospace/defense quality standards
- • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D)
- • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
