  • • Join Globalization Partners (G-P), a pioneering SaaS company revolutionizing global employment and enabling businesses to expand into over 180 countries seamlessly. At G-P, we are dedicated to dismantling barriers to international business and fostering worldwide opportunities. Our success is driven by diverse, remote-first teams who are empowered with flexibility and resources in an environment where innovation and contributions are valued and celebrated.
  • • As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a crucial role within our established tax team, supporting the Tax Director and Tax Manager in Ireland. This position is integral to the day-to-day tax operations, encompassing direct and indirect tax compliance, tax provisions, and transfer pricing documentation for G-P across the EMEA region. This is a 12-month fixed-term employment contract.
  • • Take ownership of managing the international tax compliance workstream, ensuring that corporate income tax returns for assigned entities within the EMEA region are meticulously prepared and filed accurately and on time. This involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
  • • Prepare and meticulously review Value Added Tax (VAT) returns for all EMEA entities. You will be responsible for ensuring these filings are submitted accurately and within statutory deadlines, maintaining compliance and mitigating any potential risks.
  • • Provide comprehensive support to the Tax Director and Tax Manager on a wide array of tax-related issues, queries, and special projects that arise within the dynamic EMEA landscape. This includes conducting research, analyzing tax implications, and contributing to strategic tax planning.
  • • Actively participate in the calculation of the tax provision for EMEA entities. This involves understanding and applying relevant accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP to Local GAAP differences) to ensure accurate financial reporting of tax liabilities.
  • • Contribute to the company’s global transfer pricing initiative. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation and review of master files, local files, Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR), and CBCR notifications, ensuring compliance with international transfer pricing regulations.
  • • Collaborate closely with external service providers and internal team members to support R&D tax credit and grant applications across various countries. This requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • • Continuously develop your expertise in international tax technical matters and gain specialized knowledge of tax law changes within the EMEA region. You will work with external tax advisors to develop and document positions on complex international income tax issues.
  • • Assist the Tax Director and Tax Manager in managing local tax audits. Your role will involve ensuring the timely and efficient resolution of audit queries, aiming to minimize tax liabilities and protect the company’s interests.
  • • Respond effectively to inquiries from various business units and foreign entities regarding tax matters. This requires clear communication and the ability to translate complex tax information into understandable terms.
  • • Work in close partnership with the broader tax team to implement tax projects and strategic planning initiatives. This includes contributing to the development and execution of tax strategies that support G-P's global growth objectives.
  • • Leverage your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify tax risks and opportunities, contributing to the overall tax strategy and compliance framework of the organization.
  • • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and regulatory changes in the EMEA region, proactively assessing their impact on G-P's operations and advising stakeholders accordingly.
  • • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the tax department, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, implement new technologies, and improve efficiency.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to international tax matters within a rapidly growing, global organization, contributing directly to G-P's mission of making global business possible.

🎯 Requirements
