📋 Description

• As a Senior/Tech Lead Mobile Engineer (Flutter) at Bravel, you will lead the development of an AI Language Tutor mobile app from 0 to 1, building the foundational architecture and writing the first lines of code for an MVP that enables real-time voice interaction with AI to help users learn languages through practice and feedback.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on Flutter development, selecting optimal libraries, implementing real-time audio processing for speech-to-text and text-to-speech, collaborating with designers and product managers on UI/UX and animations, setting up CI/CD pipelines for App Store and Google Play releases, and providing technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and future team hiring.
• You will join Skelar AS, a venture builder that creates and scales consumer businesses in EdTech, Mental Health, Petcare, and FashionTech, with tech products used by over 10 million people globally and recognized by Product Hunt, Webby Awards, and TrustPilot.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical direction of a pioneering AI-driven language learning product, gain deep experience in real-time voice AI integration, grow as a technical leader in an early-stage startup environment, and contribute to meaningful social impact through Skelar’s veteran accelerator and charitable foundation.

🎯 Requirements

• 4–5+ years of mobile development experience at Senior/Tech Lead level
• Deep expertise in Flutter and understanding of mobile app lifecycle
• Proven leadership experience managing developer teams or serving as Tech Lead/mentor
• Experience optimizing app performance and working with complex API integrations, particularly audio/network
• Startup mindset: ability to balance ideal architecture with rapid hypothesis validation for business outcomes
