- • As a Senior Technical Account Manager at Docker, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to high-value enterprise customers across EMEA, ensuring their success with the Docker platform while shaping their long-term digital transformation roadmaps. You will translate business objectives into technical strategies that drive adoption, expansion, and measurable ROI, positioning yourself as the expert who bridges customer needs with product innovation.
- • Day to day, you will lead the strategic vision for multiple enterprise accounts by aligning Docker’s capabilities with customer goals, conduct platform health assessments covering Dockerfiles, CI/CD, registry strategy, and software supply chain security, guide customers on AI-assisted development workflows and operational governance, architect and execute complex adoption plans to solve technical and business challenges, lead Strategic Business Reviews to demonstrate value and ROI to C-level stakeholders, act as the voice of the customer by synthesizing feedback to influence product roadmap, and mentor junior TAMs by sharing best practices and contributing to team development.
- • You will join a remote-first, global team at Docker, a company trusted by over 20 million monthly users and responsible for 20 billion image pulls, where innovation and developer experience are central to the mission. The EMEA Technical Account Management team operates with autonomy and collaboration, supporting enterprise customers in their cloud-native journeys while working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support to drive customer success and product evolution.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise cloud-native strategy, executive stakeholder engagement, and technical advisory at scale. You will develop leadership skills by mentoring junior TAMs, contribute to shaping Docker’s TAM engagement model, and gain visibility into how top-tier organizations adopt and scale containerization, AI-integrated workflows, and secure software delivery—positioning you for advancement into leadership roles in technical account management, customer success, or solution architecture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Senior TAM, Principal Solutions Architect, or DevOps Consultant, with a proven track record of managing and expanding high-value enterprise accounts.
- • Deep, hands-on expertise in containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and the broader cloud-native ecosystem, including practical experience with Dockerfiles, image management, registry strategy, and secure software supply chain governance.
- • Demonstrated ability to lead technical strategy for multiple complex accounts, proactively identifying and resolving systemic issues before they impact customer operations or adoption.
- • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with experience building trusted relationships with C-level and VP-level stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
- • Experience mentoring or leading a team of technical professionals, including sharing best practices and enabling peer development.
- • Bonus: Experience building or contributing to a formal Technical Account Management (TAM) program.

- • Designated quarterly Whaleness Days and an end-of-year Whaleness break to support mental well-being and sustained performance.
- • Home office setup stipend to ensure a comfortable and productive remote work environment.
- • 16 weeks of paid parental leave, reflecting Docker’s commitment to supporting employees through major life events.
- • Monthly technology stipend equivalent to $100 net to support tools and equipment needed for remote work.
- • Training stipend for conferences, courses, and classes to encourage continuous learning and professional development.
- • Equity participation, allowing employees to share in Docker’s growth and long-term success as a scaling startup.
- • Access to Docker swag and branded gear as part of the company culture.
