- • Lead technical onboarding, configuration, and production deployment of the Mattermost platform for enterprise, public sector, and defense clients across Germany and Europe.
- • Design, validate, and implement secure, scalable architectures for Mattermost across cloud, hybrid, and air-gapped environments.
- • Ensure compliance alignment with European and German regulatory frameworks including BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001, NIS2, and NATO security standards.
- • Guide customers in integrating Mattermost with identity management systems such as SSO, SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and Active Directory.
- • Integrate Mattermost with DevOps pipelines, monitoring systems, and automation tools to enable secure and efficient workflows.
- • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned strategic accounts, providing proactive guidance to minimize operational risk and ensure high availability and performance.
- • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve complex technical issues and represent customer needs internally.
- • Develop reusable assets including automation scripts, deployment playbooks, and documentation to standardize secure and scalable implementations.
- • Participate in internal technical reviews and contribute to improving onboarding processes and implementation methodologies.
- • Present complex technical concepts clearly to both executive and technical stakeholders across customer organizations.
- • Build trusted, long-term relationships that drive product adoption, expansion, and customer advocacy.
- • Maintain clear documentation of deployment architectures, security configurations, and customer feedback for audit and operational continuity.
- • Support mission-critical workflows in highly regulated and air-gapped environments including defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure sectors.
- • Ensure all deployments adhere to U.S. export control laws including EAR and ITAR requirements.
- • Work with customers operating in DDIL, tactical edge, and enterprise HQ environments using web, desktop, and mobile platforms with embedded interoperability for Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft 365.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or similar technical customer-facing roles.
- • Strong technical expertise in Linux system administration, networking, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure.
- • Hands-on scripting or development experience with Python, Go, Bash, Node.js, or similar languages.
- • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure system architecture.
- • Experience with DevSecOps tools and workflows including GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise or government clients with complex infrastructure environments.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- • Must be legally authorized to work in Germany.
- • Eligible for German security clearance or equivalent NATO clearance.
- • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR and ITAR).
