📋 Description

• As a Senior Technical Delivery Manager at ROOM42, Real Chemistry's in-house production company, you will be instrumental in orchestrating the successful delivery of complex digital products and technical solutions. This role is designed for an ambitious individual who possesses a robust technical understanding, proven project management acumen, and a dedication to exceptional client service. You will be the linchpin in managing the day-to-day technical execution, fostering seamless collaboration between creative and development teams, and ensuring that all projects are delivered punctually, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. • You will take ownership of the technical delivery lifecycle for a diverse range of digital projects. This includes, but is not limited to, sophisticated websites, dynamic web applications, native mobile applications, high-converting landing pages, intricate email marketing campaigns, engaging interactive modules, performance-driven banner ads, compelling motion graphics, and meticulous UI/UX design deliverables. Your oversight will ensure each component meets technical specifications and client objectives.
• A core responsibility involves coordinating intricate production workflows, from the initial stages of requirements gathering and technical specification definition, through rigorous development and quality assurance, to final deployment. You will ensure smooth, efficient handoffs and continuous communication between our talented creative teams, UX architects, development engineers, and QA specialists, minimizing friction and maximizing productivity.
• You will be adept at managing timelines for a substantial portfolio of projects, typically overseeing 10-25 concurrent initiatives. This requires diligent progress tracking, proactive identification and mitigation of potential blockers, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring all deliverables are met on time and adhere to stringent quality standards.
• A key aspect of your role will be translating high-level creative briefs and abstract design concepts into concrete, actionable technical tasks. You will collaborate closely with development leads to define resource requirements, estimate effort, and establish realistic, achievable timelines that align with both project scope and client expectations.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate project documentation is crucial. This includes detailed technical requirements, precise development specifications, thorough test plans, and clear deployment procedures, ensuring a robust knowledge base for current and future projects.
• You will actively participate in client meetings, providing clear updates on project status, discussing timelines, and elaborating on technical requirements. Your role involves delivering regular, proactive communication regarding project progress, potential risks, and proposed resolutions, fostering trust and transparency with our clients.
• Building and nurturing strong, positive working relationships with internal creative teams, account managers, and external clients is paramount. This is achieved through responsive communication, reliable delivery, and a consistent demonstration of expertise and commitment.
• You will be skilled in communicating complex technical concepts, limitations, and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and easily understandable manner, ensuring alignment and informed decision-making.
• You will leverage project management tools such as Jira, Workfront, or Asana to meticulously track and report on project progress, identify risks, and monitor key performance metrics. Regular status reports will be provided to senior delivery managers and other key stakeholders.
• Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work intimately with developers, QA engineers, designers, UX architects, and external vendors to drive effective project execution and cultivate a highly collaborative and productive team environment.
• You will facilitate essential agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and team synchronization meetings, ensuring the team remains focused, impediments are addressed promptly, and project momentum is maintained.
• You will coordinate effectively with offshore and nearshore development teams, adeptly managing time zone differences and ensuring crystal-clear communication and documentation practices are followed.
• You will champion and help maintain agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, adapting processes as needed to best suit specific project requirements and evolving client expectations.
• You will oversee the Quality Assurance testing processes, ensuring all digital deliverables are error-free, precisely meet technical specifications, and comply with accessibility standards like ADA/WCAG where applicable.
• You will manage the coordination of all project assets, including copy, design files, technical specifications, client approvals, and legal/regulatory reviews, throughout the entire production lifecycle.
• You will provide hands-on support for technical tasks when necessary, which may include reviewing code, testing functionality, troubleshooting complex issues, or coordinating technical deployments.
• You will coordinate with third-party developers, platform providers (such as Cloudflare, AWS, Pantheon, Veeva), and other technical vendors to ensure seamless project delivery and integration.
• You will assist in resource planning and allocation across your project portfolio, collaborating with senior delivery managers to optimize team capacity, balance workloads, and maximize overall productivity.
• You will diligently track project financials, monitor resource allocation, and manage time spent against project budgets. You will proactively flag scope changes and support the creation of change orders when necessary.
• A working knowledge of AI development tools like GitHub Copilot and other AI code assistants, and an understanding of their impact on development timelines, is increasingly important.
• You will possess an understanding of AI design and QA tools and their role in modern digital workflows, contributing to the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
• Familiarity with AI-powered project management and automation tools will be beneficial.
• You will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and adopt emerging AI technologies that can enhance project delivery efficiency and team productivity.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in digital project management, technical delivery, or a similar role managing web development, digital design, or interactive media projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects (10-25) with competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced agency or production environment.
• Solid understanding of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), responsive design principles, common CMS platforms, and mobile development concepts.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Workfront, Asana, or similar platforms.
