Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the end-to-end production pipeline for Judas, Ken Levine’s next-gen narrative shooter, ensuring every sprint, milestone, and deliverable aligns with the game’s ambitious creative and technical vision.
  • • Partner directly with engineering, design, art, audio, and QA leads to translate the studio’s groundbreaking “narrative LEGO” system into a predictable, transparent schedule that still leaves room for creative iteration.
  • • Build and maintain a living 18-24 month roadmap that balances content creation, systems integration, platform certification, and live-service post-launch support across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • • Drive daily cross-discipline stand-ups, weekly milestone reviews, and quarterly green-light gates, using Jira, Confluence, and proprietary dashboards to surface risks early and keep 100+ distributed developers rowing in the same direction.
  • • Champion data-driven decision making: define KPIs for build stability, asset throughput, bug burn-down, and player telemetry, then present concise, actionable reports to Ken Levine and the executive team.
  • • Serve as the primary liaison between Ghost Story and Take-Two’s central technology, QA, and publishing groups, ensuring external dependencies (voice-over pipelines, platform SDK drops, compliance toolchains) never become critical-path blockers.
  • • Spearhead the studio’s agile transformation: coach feature teams on Scrum, Kanban, and lean production practices, tailoring ceremonies to a fully remote workforce spread across four time zones.
  • • Own the build-verification and release-management process, coordinating automated testing, performance profiling, and staged rollouts so every internal and public demo feels polished and performant.
  • • Anticipate and mitigate technical risk: when emergent AI scripting, procedural narrative, or Unreal Engine 5 Nanite/Lumen features threaten scope or stability, you quickly assemble strike teams and negotiate scope trade-offs without compromising player experience.
  • • Foster a culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement, running blameless post-mortems, sprint retros, and “lunch-and-learn” sessions that turn lessons learned into repeatable best practices.
  • • Manage vendor relationships for motion-capture, localization, and accessibility services, negotiating contracts, schedules, and deliverables that uphold the game’s high bar for narrative fidelity and inclusive design.
  • • Contribute to hiring and onboarding: define role specs, interview candidates, and mentor junior producers, ensuring the production discipline scales gracefully as the project moves from pre-alpha to gold master and beyond.
  • • Keep the creative flame alive: translate Ken Levine’s high-concept vision into pragmatic user stories, ensuring every task—no matter how technical—ultimately serves the emotional arc of the player’s journey aboard the Mayflower starship.
  • • Own the post-launch live roadmap, balancing hotfixes, seasonal content drops, and community feedback loops while protecting the team from crunch and burnout.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of production experience shipping at least one AAA console/PC title in a technical producer or equivalent role
  • • Expert-level command of Jira, Confluence, Perforce, and Unreal Engine 5 workflows
  • • Demonstrated ability to wrangle complex, systems-heavy games with procedural or emergent narrative components
  • • Comfortable reading C++ and Blueprint diffs to triage bugs and assess technical risk
  • • Nice-to-have: experience with distributed/remote teams across multiple time zones

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Fully remote-first studio with flexible hours and a results-only work environment
  • • Competitive salary, annual bonus, and RSU equity through Take-Two’s long-term incentive plan
  • • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision for you and eligible dependents
  • • 20 days PTO plus two-week winter shutdown and floating mental-health days
  • • Annual $2,000 learning stipend for conferences, courses, and certifications
