• • As a Senior Technical Product Manager at Torc Robotics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of autonomous trucking by leading critical workstreams focused on Metrics, Mission Management, Product Safety Assurance, and Regulatory compliance. This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between the complex needs of regulatory bodies, engineering teams, safety experts, and other vital business functions, ensuring our autonomous vehicle technology meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and legal adherence.
• • You will be responsible for identifying, defining, and prioritizing the requirements for these key workstreams. This involves close collaboration with fellow Technical Product Managers and engineering leadership to translate these needs into actionable plans for timely design and implementation within our Electrical/Electronic (E/E) systems and operational safety frameworks. Your insights will directly influence the development of robust and reliable autonomous driving solutions.
• • A core aspect of your role will be to represent these crucial areas in cross-functional planning sessions. You will meticulously define and verify acceptance criteria, drive consensus and alignment across diverse teams, and ensure the successful delivery of these workstream outcomes as part of the overarching Technology Roadmap. This strategic alignment is essential for achieving our critical product milestones and advancing our corporate objectives.
• • You will proactively manage the technology roadmap, diligently working to reconcile timeline gaps, focus leadership attention on key challenges, and anticipate and address dependencies and risks before they impact progress. Your expertise in change management will be vital in navigating evolving requirements and ensuring that all stakeholders remain informed and aligned. By predicting potential roadblocks and proactively mitigating them, you will ensure the smooth progression of our development efforts.
• • This role demands a strong ability to forecast outcomes and proactively manage risks. You will leverage the technology roadmap to inform both short-term and long-term priorities for your assigned workstreams, partnering closely with other TPMs and engineering leadership. This strategic foresight will empower engineering teams to efficiently advance the company’s milestones and maintain a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving autonomous vehicle industry.
• • You will apply best practices in program management and leverage your engineering expertise to provide clear and concise status reports to leadership.
