📋 Description

• Senior Technical Program Manager at Adyen N.V. in Amsterdam, responsible for driving high-stakes, cross-product technical programs from scoping to delivery, ensuring technical dependencies are managed and risks are mitigated to enable seamless execution for global engineering teams.
• Drive Execution at Pace: Take full ownership of high-complexity programs, unblocking teams so they can focus on building rather than navigating dependencies, ensuring timely delivery of critical initiatives across global product lines.
• Bridge Gaps & Silos: Oversee programs spanning multiple solutions, identifying and managing technical dependencies that individual product teams might overlook, fostering alignment across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams.
• Mitigate Risk: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks — including technical, schedule, and resource risks — to prevent delays or incorrect technical decisions impacting merchants or internal operations.
• Operational Artifacts: Establish and maintain standardized program health tools such as RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies), program dashboards, blueprints, and cross-team roadmaps to increase transparency and predictability.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in a technical environment with proven ability to lead complex, high-stakes programs or migrations, ideally in a global context.
• Technical fluency to engage deeply in engineering conversations, understand architectural dependencies, and preferably possess knowledge of cloud and/or on-prem infrastructure.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable stepping into ambiguous situations with no existing framework and capable of building processes, tools, and governance structures from scratch.
• Strong complex problem-solving skills: Able to synthesize organizational blind spots, identify systemic risks, and create frameworks to track improvements across disparate teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Adept at aligning diverse stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional decision-making, and driving accountability without direct authority.
