  • • Axon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic team in Canada. This remote role offers a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of complex, enterprise-grade hardware and SaaS solutions that are critical to public safety and law enforcement agencies across the globe. As a pivotal member of our Program Management team, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our innovative products not only meet but exceed customer expectations, driving significant impact and contributing to our mission of Protecting Life.
  • • In this senior capacity, you will orchestrate the end-to-end lifecycle of complex enterprise product deployments. This involves meticulous planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure all project milestones are achieved on time and within scope. A key aspect of your role will be to ensure that deliverables align precisely with customer requirements and stringent revenue recognition guidelines, demonstrating a keen understanding of both technical and financial project drivers.
  • • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multiple medium to large-sized projects concurrently. This requires exceptional organizational skills and a robust approach to scope, timeline, and budget control. Your ability to maintain a clear overview of all ongoing initiatives, identify interdependencies, and proactively manage resources will be crucial for success.
  • • A significant part of your responsibility will involve close collaboration with our Product and Engineering teams. You will work hand-in-hand to define program requirements, ensuring that all technical solutions are not only innovative but also compliant with relevant national and state standards, particularly those pertinent to public safety and data security.
  • • You will act as a central point of contact, engaging extensively with a diverse range of stakeholders. This includes customer representatives, sales teams, product management, and software services leaders. Your role will be to clearly define the project vision, establish precise scope boundaries, and set realistic and achievable delivery timelines, fostering a shared understanding and commitment across all parties.
  • • Effective program planning is a cornerstone of this role. You will be expected to support and refine work estimation processes, ensuring that project plans are grounded in accurate data and realistic assessments of effort and resources required.
  • • You will lead and manage program-level change management activities. This requires a strategic approach to identifying, evaluating, and implementing changes, working closely with both client partners and internal teams to minimize disruption and maximize the benefits of any adjustments.
  • • Developing comprehensive and accurate documentation is a critical deliverable. This documentation will be essential for supporting customer acceptance of delivered solutions and for facilitating timely and accurate revenue recognition, highlighting your attention to detail and understanding of business processes.
  • • As a primary facilitator, you will ensure seamless communication and coordination across all project team members and stakeholders. Your ability to foster a collaborative environment, resolve conflicts, and keep everyone informed and aligned will be paramount to the smooth execution of programs.
  • • Proactive risk management is a key expectation. You will be responsible for identifying potential project risks early, developing effective mitigation strategies, and proactively addressing any emerging issues to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects.
  • • A vital component of your role will be to deliver foundational training to our customers. This training, conducted both remotely and in person, is designed to support the successful adoption and utilization of Axon’s cutting-edge solutions, ensuring our customers derive maximum value.
  • • You will also play a role in developing our talent pool by mentoring junior project managers. This includes sharing your expertise, providing guidance, and supporting their professional growth. Additionally, you may be involved in the recruitment process, helping to identify and attract top talent to strengthen our program management team.
  • • This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing complex technical programs, a passion for public safety technology, and a commitment to driving impactful change. You will be at the forefront of delivering solutions that make communities safer and empower those who protect and serve.
