  • • As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be instrumental in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical projects that are foundational to Kraken's operations and continued growth.
  • • This role demands a unique blend of strategic systems thinking and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring our infrastructure is not only scalable and cost-effective but also delivers low-latency, high-throughput, and exceptional resilience.
  • • You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Engineering, Product, IT, Compliance, and Security teams, ensuring seamless alignment, comprehensive visibility, and the scalability of our most critical initiatives.
  • • Your project portfolio will span a wide array of domains, including core infrastructure development, orchestration, compliance frameworks, security enhancements, database management, and the creation of essential internal tooling.
  • • You will leverage a hybrid approach, skillfully applying both Agile and Waterfall methodologies where they best suit the project's context and objectives, ensuring flexibility and efficiency.
  • • Embrace and contribute to a culture of hyper-transparency, fostering an environment of open dialogue, candid discussions, and constructive feedback, which is essential for adapting to the dynamic and ever-evolving cryptocurrency industry.
  • • Drive end-to-end project execution for complex, cross-functional technical initiatives that span engineering, security, compliance, facility operations, and data center management.
  • • Develop and meticulously manage comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, dashboards, and release timelines, providing clear direction and tracking progress.
  • • Coordinate and align cross-functional teams around strategic priorities and desired outcomes, ensuring collective focus and shared success.
  • • Proactively identify critical dependencies, anticipate and mitigate risks, and effectively unblock teams through innovative and creative problem-solving.
  • • Facilitate key project meetings, including retrospectives and planning sessions, and lead the planning for major initiatives, ensuring effective coordination with all relevant stakeholders.
  • • Diligently track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall project health using robust metrics and dashboards, continuously iterating on reporting to enhance clarity and maximize impact.
  • • Manage intake workflows for feature requests, support channels, and Keep-The-Lights-On (KTLO) activities, ensuring all requests are addressed efficiently and within timely parameters.
  • • Foster strong partnerships with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to achieve alignment on requirements, timelines, and strategic project planning.
  • • Communicate complex technical information effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership, by providing clear summaries and actionable insights.
  • • Collaborate effectively with external vendors when necessary, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and technical standards.
  • • Drive significant improvements in internal workflows by enhancing Atlassian workflows, implementing AI-driven solutions, promoting automation, enabling self-service capabilities, and establishing consistent reporting mechanisms.
  • • Champion continuous improvement by identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending scalable process changes that enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • • Cultivate a high-performing team environment by actively sharing project management best practices and fostering a culture of learning and development across teams.
  • • This role is fully remote, and we are considering candidates located within EU, EST US, and LATAM timezones, offering flexibility and global reach.
