  • • Drive full-cycle technical recruiting for Engineering roles at Collective Technologies, focusing on proactive identification, engagement, and nurturing of passive technical talent across software engineering, data, and related disciplines.
  • • Develop and execute creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, employee referrals, talent communities, tech events, and niche platforms to build robust pipelines for high-growth engineering needs.
  • • Conduct initial recruiter screens to assess technical fit, cultural alignment, and candidate motivation, ensuring consistent evaluation standards and timely feedback to hiring teams.
  • • Manage end-to-end candidate experience by maintaining proactive, transparent communication throughout the interview process, from initial outreach to offer negotiation and onboarding coordination.
  • • Partner with engineering hiring managers and internal recruiters to calibrate job descriptions, refine talent profiles, and align sourcing tactics with evolving business priorities and hiring velocity.
  • • Analyze and report on key recruiting metrics including pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and conversion rates to optimize outreach strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
  • • Leverage advanced recruiting technologies such as Ashby, Pin, and Claude to automate workflows, enhance candidate tracking, and scale sourcing efficiency in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
  • • Map competitive technical talent markets to identify top performers, understand movement trends, and anticipate talent supply challenges in key engineering domains.
  • • Build and maintain long-term relationships with passive candidates through personalized outreach, ensuring a steady flow of qualified applicants for current and future roles.
  • • Stay current with evolving technical landscapes, emerging tools, and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve sourcing methodologies and candidate engagement.
  • • Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership by providing data-backed market insights on salary benchmarks, competitor hiring patterns, and candidate sentiment.
  • • Maintain strict adherence to compliance and diversity hiring standards while ensuring an equitable, respectful, and professional experience for all candidates.
  • • Collaborate across HR and operations teams to streamline onboarding logistics and ensure seamless transitions from offer acceptance to first day of work.
  • • Document and refine internal recruiting processes to institutionalize scalable best practices and reduce manual overhead across the hiring lifecycle.
  • • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to elevate Collective’s employer brand within technical communities and attract top-tier engineering talent in a competitive market.
  • • Adapt quickly to shifting hiring priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with frequent changes in role scope, team structure, and hiring volume.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with at least 4+ years focused on technical recruiting
  • • Experience leveraging AI tools and modern recruiting technology to improve efficiency and scale
  • • A proven track record of hiring high-performing technical talent in fast-paced or high-growth environments
  • • Strong sourcing and talent mapping skills across competitive technical markets
  • • Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions through data and market insights
  • • An “always learning” mentality with a passion for improving recruiting operations and candidate experience
