- • As a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst at TENEX.AI, you will be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize cybersecurity through AI-native, automation-first Managed Detection and Response (MDR). You will serve as a critical force multiplier for our defenders, significantly enhancing our clients' security posture by transforming the complex global threat landscape into clear, actionable intelligence. This role is pivotal in shaping our threat intelligence program from the ground up, demanding a proactive, investigative, and strategic mindset.
- • You will be responsible for executing all phases of the intelligence lifecycle, from meticulous planning and collection to rigorous analysis, precise production, and effective dissemination of threat intelligence. This end-to-end ownership ensures that our intelligence efforts are comprehensive and impactful, directly contributing to the protection of our customers.
- • A core aspect of your role will involve deep adversary profiling. You will meticulously track specific threat actors and groups, mapping their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) against established frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK. This detailed analysis will be instrumental in identifying critical gaps in our current defensive strategies and informing the development of new protective measures.
- • Beyond tactical threat tracking, you will engage in strategic analysis, closely monitoring geopolitical events, emerging industry trends, and the clandestine activities on the dark web. Your insights will provide "big picture" briefings to leadership, illuminating how the broader threat landscape is evolving and its potential implications for TENEX.AI and its clientele.
- • On a tactical level, you will be responsible for extracting and validating technical Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) from various sources, including malware reports and open-source intelligence (OSINT). This ensures that our blocklists and detection mechanisms are not only accurate but also minimize false positives, maintaining high fidelity and low noise.
- • You will play a key role in the proactive research, identification, and collection of threat intelligence. This involves leveraging a diverse range of sources, including OSINT, commercial threat feeds, and internal security data, to build a robust and comprehensive intelligence picture.
- • Producing high-quality written reports is a fundamental responsibility. These will range from urgent "Flash Alerts" for immediate threats to more in-depth monthly blogs and executive summaries tailored for leadership. Your ability to communicate complex technical findings in a clear, concise, and business-relevant manner is paramount.
- • You will also monitor and analyze vulnerability disclosures and exploit trends. This proactive approach will provide early insights into potential risks and vulnerabilities, allowing for timely mitigation efforts before they can be exploited.
- • Acting as a crucial bridge between our technical teams, such as Incident Response, and non-technical stakeholders, you will translate complex technical exploits and threat data into understandable business risks. 🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 4 years specifically focused on threat intelligence or a closely related field (e.g., Security Operations Center (SOC) analysis).
- • Deep familiarity with the Intelligence Cycle and established threat frameworks and methodologies such as MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, Cyber Kill Chain, Pyramid of Pain, and STIX/TAXII.
- • Proven proficiency in open-source intelligence (OSINT) and commercial threat intelligence tools and techniques (e.g., Shodan, VirusTotal, INTEL471, WHOIS, Maltego).
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate the business impact of threats, not just their technical details.
