📋 Description

• As a Senior UI Developer at Bloomreach, you will help evolve and scale the Bloomreach Engagement UI design system, implementing new designs and maintaining UI components used across the product. You’ll sit at the intersection of design, engineering, and product, turning ideas into intuitive, robust, and beautiful interfaces.
• Day to day, you will expand and maintain the UI design system and components library, improve and maintain the in-house SCSS framework, and implement new designs and product experiences by collaborating with product designers, product managers, and QA teams.
• You’ll join a frontend team within Bloomreach’s Central European offices (Bratislava, Brno, Prague) or work remotely full-time, contributing to a company that powers personalization for over 1,400 global brands using its AI engine, Loomi AI.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern CSS, design systems, and frontend architecture, gain ownership of key parts of the UI framework, and help shape the future roadmap of the design system while advancing your skills in Angular, TypeScript, and AI-augmented development.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong CSS and Sass skills, including knowledge of selector specificity, flexbox, grid, responsiveness, and modern CSS features like container queries and cascade layers.
• Experience building or significantly contributing to a design system or UI component library, including tokens, components, documentation, and versioning.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework (Angular, React, or Vue), with comfort in intermediate JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Git and standard workflows such as branching, pull/merge requests, and code review.
• Passion for modern CSS and web UI, with an architecture mindset focused on long-term maintainability and scalability.
• Openness to leveraging AI in development for code generation, refactoring, and documentation while maintaining ownership of solution quality.
