📋 Description

• As a Senior Value Engineer at Celonis, you will drive business-critical outcomes for strategic customers by leveraging the company’s Process Intelligence platform and cutting-edge AI technologies from partners like Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks to solve complex problems and unlock real ROI on AI investments.
• Your day-to-day involves understanding customer AI strategies and challenges, designing innovative solutions that translate business needs into technical implementations, leading hackathons to rapidly prototype agentic AI systems, and executing end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects with secure, scalable LLM-based architectures.
• You will work within a global, mission-driven leader in Process Intelligence that is transforming how enterprises operate by combining process data with AI to create a living digital twin of business operations, headquartered in Munich and New York with over 20 offices worldwide.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise AI adoption, gain hands-on experience with generative AI and agentic systems, develop industry-specific knowledge in domains like supply chain or finance, and grow into a trusted advisor who drives customer value, innovation, and sustainable impact at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales, including defining AI roadmaps, building ROI/TCO business cases, and prototyping machine learning and generative AI solutions.
• Understanding of generative AI techniques such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning for high-impact use cases like intelligent chatbots and automated text processors.
• Understanding of business processes across sectors (e.g., Supply Chain or Finance) with the ability to translate high-level business needs into specific AI use cases.
• Good knowledge of Python and common ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch) as well as data engineering tools and technologies.
• Strong presentation skills to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, in whiteboarding sessions or formal readouts and demos.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience preferred.
