- ⢠As Senior Vice President of Care Delivery at Wheel Health Inc., you will lead the end-to-end delivery of virtual care services, ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and alignment with company goals across Network Operations, Clinical Quality & Safety, Support Operations, and Delivery Operations. This role is critical to Wheelâs mission of transforming healthcare by enabling innovative companies to deliver high-quality virtual care at scale through a nationwide network of board-certified clinicians and cutting-edge technology.
- ⢠You will drive strategic leadership by developing detailed execution plans that support company objectives, continuously refining strategy based on performance outcomes, and ensuring scalability and operational excellence across all care delivery functions. Your leadership will directly impact Wheelâs ability to meet contractual SLAs, financial targets, and client satisfaction goals while fostering innovation in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing demand forecasting and clinical supply modeling to align demand and supply across clients, modalities, states, and time of day; managing team performance and organizational design to scale effectively; driving Care Delivery execution to exceed SLAs and NPS targets for patients, clinicians, and enterprise clients; developing and monitoring real-time dashboards for data-driven decision-making; ensuring strict compliance with 50-state telehealth regulations, HIPAA, licensure, and credentialing; leveraging AI to automate workflows and reduce manual processes; partnering with Product and R&D to scope operational optimizations; and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Client Success to align care delivery with broader business goals.
- ⢠You will lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team responsible for the operational backbone of Wheelâs virtual care platform, working in a remote-first culture that values ownership, intellectual curiosity, and data-driven problem-solving. The team operates at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and operations, where clinical excellence meets scalable logistics and innovation.
- ⢠In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare operations leadership, AI-driven process optimization, workforce and capacity modeling, regulatory compliance in telehealth, and executive-level stakeholder communication. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of virtual care delivery at a fast-growing health tech company, influence product strategy through operational insights, and build scalable systems that improve access to care for millions while driving measurable business outcomes.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠10-12+ years of Care Delivery or Operations experience, preferably managing capacity for an online healthcare marketplace or urgent care platform
- ⢠Minimum 8-10 years of managerial experience in scaling and building effective teams
- ⢠Demonstrated expertise in data and modeling including SQL and Excel, with experience in workforce planning and demand/capacity modeling
- ⢠Proven ability to leverage AI to optimize processes, reduce manual workflows, and drive operational efficiency
- ⢠Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and executive/BoD-level communication
