- • As an SEO Lead at Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc., you will own and scale SEO delivery for a portfolio of home-services clients across the US, directly impacting organic visibility and lead generation for businesses in competitive local markets such as HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, and junk removal. Your work will drive measurable growth in map pack rankings and organic traffic, supporting client retention and business expansion through data-informed, execution-focused SEO strategies.
- • You will own end-to-end SEO strategy and execution, including creating and maintaining SEO roadmaps that cover technical improvements, content planning, local visibility enhancements, link building coordination, and Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization. Day-to-day, you will conduct city-level keyword research, optimize GBP listings (categories, attributes, service areas, citations, media), run technical audits (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema), build content briefs and frameworks for service and location pages, coordinate link acquisition efforts, and collaborate with content, development, and paid media teams to align SEO with broader marketing goals. You will use GA4, GSC, SEMrush/Ahrefs, WordPress, and reporting tools like Looker Studio and Google Sheets to track performance, identify opportunities, and report progress to stakeholders.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in local SEO for service-area businesses, gain hands-on experience managing multi-location SEO strategies, and strengthen your ability to lead SEO initiatives in competitive metro markets. You’ll develop leadership skills in coordinating contractors, mentoring junior talent, and building scalable SEO processes—positioning yourself for advancement into senior SEO, strategy, or management roles within the digital marketing or growth space.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment, with proven success improving local SEO performance for service-area businesses (map pack + organic results).
- • Experience improving Google Business Profile rankings and local visibility in competitive markets, including optimization of categories, attributes, service areas, citations, photos/videos, and local trust signals.
- • Solid technical SEO foundation (auditing, indexation, site structure, internal linking, Core Web Vitals awareness, basic schema) and strong proficiency in WordPress (on-page optimization, plugins, implementing technical updates).
- • Ability to produce clear documentation, briefs, action plans, and performance reporting, with strong organization and time management to manage multiple client campaigns.
- • Prior professional remote work experience and fluency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana or similar), ideally supporting US- or UK-based teams/clients.
