📋 Description
- • As an SEO Lead specializing in Local SEO and Google Business Profile for home-services businesses, you will directly impact the online visibility and lead generation of US-based clients in competitive service industries such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and remodeling. Your expertise will drive measurable outcomes in map pack rankings, organic traffic, and booked jobs, making this role essential to client growth and retention.
- • You will own end-to-end SEO strategy and execution for a portfolio of home-service clients, including developing and maintaining SEO roadmaps that cover technical SEO, local visibility, content planning, GBP optimization, and link acquisition. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting city- and service-level keyword research, optimizing Google Business Profiles with accurate categories, services, attributes, and media, auditing websites for technical health (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema), and implementing fixes in collaboration with WordPress developers. You will also build content strategies for service and location pages, create SEO briefs aligned with local intent, review content for quality and conversion potential, and coordinate link-building efforts through citations, outreach, and partnerships tailored to the home-services vertical.
- • You will collaborate closely with content creators, development teams, paid media, and LSA specialists to ensure alignment across channels, track performance using GA4, GSC, and SEO tools with a focus on leads and calls, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders. 🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with direct, proven success in home-services or service-based industries (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, remodeling, junk removal, cleaning, painting)
- • Demonstrated ability to improve local SEO and Google Business Profile rankings for service-area businesses in competitive metro markets
- • Strong technical SEO foundation including audits, indexation, internal linking, Core Web Vitals awareness, and basic schema implementation
- • Proficiency with WordPress and common SEO plugins for on-page optimization and technical fixes
- • Non-negotiable: Prior professional remote work experience and fluency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana or similar) supporting US- or UK-based teams/clients
