- • Serve as the primary client-facing strategist for Enterprise B2B clients, developing and managing custom SEO and content strategies aligned with client business goals and Directive’s DiscoverabilityOS™ methodology.
- • Design and implement data-driven SEO strategies incorporating keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building to improve client visibility and drive measurable outcomes.
- • Utilize industry tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to analyze website traffic, SERP share, and SEO performance metrics.
- • Set client-specific goals using available data sources, ensuring all goals are reviewed and approved by the Associate Director (AsD) before presentation to clients.
- • Lead cross-functional execution of content campaigns by collaborating with writers, designers, and Specialists, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client quality standards.
- • Manage client projects using Asana, delegating tasks to internal team members and clients, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met and communicated effectively.
- • Partner with Project Managers in pods to coordinate task creation, assignment, and due date adherence across all client deliverables.
- • Conduct bi-weekly client meetings to report on NSM progress, ongoing deliverables, and strategic adjustments, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- • Produce and deliver monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual business review reports that quantify the impact of SEO and content strategies on client revenue and growth.
- • Proactively communicate with clients via Slack and other channels between meetings to update on deliverables, timeline expectations, and goal attainment progress.
- • Identify and communicate opportunities for account growth, including upselling into additional service lines (e.g., Paid Media, Lifecycle Marketing) or increasing existing service budgets.
- • Build deep, trust-based relationships with clients that extend beyond deliverables, fostering loyalty and encouraging referrals at key moments (e.g., 5-star CSAT, new job transitions).
- • Maintain strict adherence to Directive’s best practices, including LTV:CAC modeling, customer generation frameworks, and content production standards.
- • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, particularly in AI and automation, and apply emerging insights to enhance client strategies and operational efficiency.
- • Act as the central liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across Performance, Communications, and Commerce divisions.
- • Respond to roadblocks impacting strategy or goal attainment by escalating issues to the Associate Director (AsD) and collaborating on solutions.
- • Ensure all client communications reflect a consultative, human-centered approach, prioritizing understanding client business contexts and decision-making processes.
- • Maintain 100% attainment of NSMs, 96% MRR retention, and CSAT scores above 4.2 through consistent strategic execution and client engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of implementing SEO principles including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- • Analytical proficiency using Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog
- • Strong client-facing communication skills with experience managing key stakeholder relationships
- • Demonstrated experience working in a digital marketing agency environment
- • Direct experience with B2B tech and/or SaaS clients
- • Proven organizational, project management, and time management skills
