Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As an SEO Strategist at Directive Consulting, you will be at the forefront of driving tangible revenue growth for our B2B clients, moving beyond mere lead generation to focus on building robust marketing engines that scale. This client-facing role is pivotal in developing and executing bespoke strategies that align with our proprietary Customer Generation methodology, ensuring clients achieve their Net Sales Metric (NSM) goals.
- • You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of enterprise-level clients, requiring a deep understanding of their specific service lines and how they integrate into a holistic marketing ecosystem. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting custom strategies, implementing best practices, and optimizing campaigns throughout the client lifecycle to achieve and exceed Net Sales Metrics (NSMs).
- • A core aspect of your role involves strategic excellence. You will leverage project phases as a foundation for initial client strategies, but continuously refine these based on overall marketing objectives, ongoing campaign performance, and historical data. This iterative approach ensures strategies remain dynamic and effective.
- • You will be empowered to craft compelling creative briefs and innovative content campaigns, driven by thorough competitor analysis and audience insights. Adherence to Directive's best practices, including LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation principles, Share of SERP optimization, and advanced Content Production techniques, will be paramount.
- • Goal setting is a critical responsibility. You will utilize a range of data sources, including Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, and Ahrefs, to establish clear, measurable client goals. These goals will be collaboratively reviewed and approved by your Associate Director before being presented to the client.
- • Project management is integral to your success. You will ensure the seamless execution of planned strategies by effectively delegating tasks to internal specialists, clients, and other team members. Utilizing Asana for task management, you will track progress, ensure timely completion, and maintain clear communication channels.
- • In instances where Project Managers are part of your pod, you will collaborate closely with them to guarantee all tasks are meticulously created, assigned, and tracked against deadlines, with consistent client communication.
- • You will work hand-in-hand with content writers and designers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content campaigns that meet and exceed client expectations.
- • As the primary liaison between clients and the Directive team, you will cultivate strong, human-centric relationships. Your goal is to be the most trusted consultant for your clients, understanding their business intimately and acting as a strategic partner.
- • Proactive communication is key. You will keep clients informed about deliverable timelines, progress towards goals, and utilize Slack for ongoing dialogue between bi-weekly meetings. Deliverables should be shared consistently, not just during scheduled meetings.
- • Internally, you will provide regular updates to leadership regarding any roadblocks, opportunities for account growth, and significant client account changes, such as shifts in strategy, client-side marketing adjustments, or changes in client points of contact.
- • Reporting is a fundamental part of the role. You will conduct bi-weekly client meetings to discuss NSM progress and ongoing deliverables, prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports, and lead two bi-annual business review presentations to showcase strategic impact and future planning.
- • This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, enjoys solving complex marketing challenges, and is passionate about making a significant impact on client growth. You will be part of a team that values bold thinking, innovation, and a commitment to delivering real revenue.
- • The position requires a proactive approach to identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, encouraging client growth within Directive's service lines, and actively seeking referrals by building strong client relationships and recognizing opportune moments to ask.
- • You will be instrumental in fostering a diverse and inclusive culture, embodying Directive's 'People First' core value, and contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- • This is a remote role based in the United Kingdom, requiring you to work within local business hours (GMT/BST) and possess established work authorization for the UK.
