- • As a future opening SEO Strategist at Directive Consulting, you will be at the forefront of delivering tangible revenue growth for our B2B clients, moving beyond mere lead generation to focus on impactful pipeline and SQL growth. You will be instrumental in developing and executing sophisticated SEO and content strategies that align with our proprietary Customer Generation methodology, designed to cut through market noise and drive measurable business outcomes.
- • This client-facing role is pivotal, requiring you to manage day-to-day client deliverables, architect bespoke strategies, and serve as the primary communication bridge between clients and our internal teams. You will be entrusted with managing more complex, enterprise-level clients, necessitating a profound understanding of their specific service lines and how they interrelate with broader business objectives to forge holistic marketing strategies.
- • Internally, this position is recognized as an Account Strategist, Content & SEO, highlighting the dual focus on strategic account management and specialized SEO/content expertise.
- • **Strategic Excellence and Best Practices:** Your core responsibility will be to craft custom strategies and implement industry-leading best practices for your clients, all geared towards achieving their Net Sales Metrics (NSMs). You will leverage the initial project phase as a strategic blueprint, but continuously optimize and refine these strategies throughout the client lifecycle. This optimization will be informed by a deep dive into client marketing goals, ongoing campaigns, historical performance data, and Directive's established best practices.
- • You will collaborate closely with your Associate Director (AsD) to navigate any strategic roadblocks and ensure consistent progress towards client goal attainment.
- • A key aspect of this role involves developing compelling creative briefs and content campaigns, driven by insightful analysis of competitor landscapes and target audience behaviors.
- • Your strategic recommendations will be grounded in proven methodologies, including but not limited to:
- • Lifetime Value to Customer Acquisition Cost (LTV:CAC) modeling to ensure profitable growth.
- • The application of our unique Customer Generation framework.
- • Strategies to achieve significant Share of SERP (Search Engine Results Page) dominance.
- • A robust approach to Content Production that drives engagement and conversions.
- • **Goal Setting:** You will be adept at utilizing a variety of data sources, including Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, and Ahrefs, to establish clear, measurable, and achievable goals for each client engagement. These goals will be meticulously reviewed and formally approved by your Associate Director (AsD) before being presented to the client, often in joint meetings.
- • **Project Management:** Ensuring the seamless execution of your strategic vision is paramount. You will utilize Asana as our primary project management tool to maintain clarity on task ownership, deadlines, and overall project momentum. This involves delegating tasks effectively to internal specialists (e.g., content writers, designers) and coordinating efforts with client teams.
- • In instances where dedicated Project Managers are part of the client pod, you will partner closely with them to ensure all tasks are accurately created, assigned, and tracked, with timely communication of progress and deadlines to the client.
- • You will foster strong working relationships with content writers and designers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality content campaigns that meet and exceed client expectations.
- • **Internal and External Communication:** You are the primary liaison, building robust, trust-based relationships with clients that extend beyond transactional deliverables. Your goal is to be a true consultant, understanding their business on a human level.
- • Proactive communication is key. You will set clear timeline expectations for deliverables, provide regular updates on goal attainment progress, and leverage shared communication channels like Slack for ongoing dialogue between bi-weekly meetings. Deliverables should be shared consistently, not just during formal meetings.
- • Internally, you will provide proactive updates to leadership regarding any roadblocks, identify opportunities for account growth, and communicate significant client account changes, such as strategic shifts, internal marketing adjustments, or changes in client points of contact.
- • **Reporting:** You will be responsible for regularly reporting on the progress and impact of your strategies to clients through various cadences:
- • Bi-weekly client meetings, focusing on Net Sales Metric (NSM) progress and ongoing deliverables.
- • Comprehensive monthly reports.
- • Detailed quarterly reports.
- • Two significant Bi-Annual business review presentations to showcase overall performance and strategic direction.
