- • Serve as the primary client-facing strategist for Enterprise B2B clients, developing and managing custom SEO and content marketing strategies aligned with client business goals and Directive’s DiscoverabilityOS™ methodology.
- • Create data-driven client strategies using insights from Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and CRM data to set measurable goals for NSM attainment, MRR retention, and CSAT scores.
- • Design and execute content campaigns grounded in competitor analysis, audience insights, and keyword research, ensuring alignment with on-page optimization, link building, and SERP share objectives.
- • Own end-to-end project management of client deliverables using Asana, delegating tasks to internal Specialists, content writers, and designers while ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- • Partner with Project Managers in client pods to ensure all tasks are created, assigned, and tracked with accurate due dates communicated clearly to clients.
- • Conduct bi-weekly client meetings to report on NSM progress, deliverable status, and strategic adjustments, supplemented by monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual business review presentations.
- • Proactively communicate with clients via Slack and other channels between meetings to update on timelines, goal progress, and deliverables—not waiting for scheduled touchpoints.
- • Maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business holistically, anticipating needs, and identifying opportunities for upsells, cross-sells, or referrals—especially during key moments like point-of-contact changes or high CSAT scores.
- • Collaborate with internal leadership to escalate roadblocks, flag growth opportunities, and communicate changes in client marketing strategy, personnel, or priorities.
- • Ensure all client strategies adhere to Directive’s best practices including LTV:CAC modeling, customer generation, content production, and Share of SERP optimization.
- • Stay current with evolving SEO trends, content marketing innovations, and the impact of AI and automation on digital marketing operations.
- • Maintain 100% NSM attainment, 96% MRR retention, and CSAT scores above 4.2 across all assigned clients.
- • Actively contribute to account growth by identifying opportunities to expand client engagement into additional service lines such as Paid Media or Lifecycle Marketing.
- • Operate 100% remotely using a laptop (PC or Mac), reliable internet, and digital collaboration tools including Zoom, Slack, Asana, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and other SEO/analytics platforms.
- • Adhere to Directive’s remote-first work model with no in-office requirements; must be able to remain stationary for extended periods and effectively interpret written and verbal communication.
- • Participate in company-wide initiatives including annual anniversary trips with leadership and peers, and utilize provided wellness benefits including mental health support and gym memberships.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of implementing SEO principles including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- • Experience analyzing website traffic and SEO metrics using Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console
- • Strong client-facing communication skills with ability to manage key stakeholder relationships
- • Demonstrated experience working in a digital marketing agency environment
- • B2B tech and/or SaaS industry experience
- • Proficiency in project management tools (specifically Asana) and strong organizational/time management skills
