- • Provide on-site technical advice and service to customers in designated geographic territories across Australia, focusing on water treatment systems including cooling, boiler, and wastewater operations.
- • Maintain accurate chemical stock levels on customer sites, ensuring timely replenishment and coordinating removal of empty chemical drums.
- • Conduct regular sampling and testing of cooling and boiler water systems, identifying and correcting operational faults to ensure system efficiency and compliance.
- • Record all test results, monitoring data, and service activities into Solenis’s centralized digital record-keeping system with precision and consistency.
- • Perform weekly inspections of all chemical dosing and monitoring equipment, reporting or correcting malfunctions and performing necessary cleaning tasks.
- • Conduct weekly visits to customer maintenance managers or site personnel to maintain strong client relationships and ensure service alignment.
- • Collect, dispatch, and manage biological samples from customer sites for laboratory analysis as part of water quality monitoring protocols.
- • Perform or supervise cleaning of cooling towers to prevent biofilm buildup and maintain system hygiene and performance.
- • Install and retrieve corrosion coupons to assess material degradation and provide data-driven recommendations for asset protection.
- • Report any water or chemical leaks, unusual system behavior, or safety incidents immediately and document findings for internal review.
- • Reprogram and recalibrate water treatment equipment as needed to ensure optimal dosing accuracy and system performance.
- • Perform manual chemical dosing when automated systems are unavailable or require supplementation.
- • Maintain high standards of housekeeping at customer sites, ensuring clean, safe, and organized work environments.
- • Demonstrate consistent adherence to safe work practices, proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards in industrial settings.
- • Travel extensively within assigned territory to serve multiple customer locations, requiring reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- • Support the potential development path toward an account manager role by building technical credibility and customer trust through consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- • Apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and maintain complex water treatment equipment and systems.
- • Execute repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with operational standards and customer expectations.
- • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to relay technical findings, service updates, and system recommendations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience with boilers, cooling towers, or both
- • Demonstrated safe work practices and ability to identify industrial hazards
- • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory
- • Mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment
- • Good eye for detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- • Strong verbal communication skills for customer liaison
