- • As a ServiceNow Business Development Executive (BDE) at SHI International Corp., you will be a pivotal contributor to the company's sales success, focusing on the acquisition, retention, and growth of our ServiceNow customer base. This role involves engaging with both prospective and existing SHI clients to sell ServiceNow licenses and services directly related to the ServiceNow platform.
- • You will be an integral part of the dedicated ServiceNow Sales Team, leveraging your licensing expertise across the entire ServiceNow platform to support all SHI business units. Your deep understanding of ServiceNow's capabilities, including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SPM, and SecOps, will be crucial for driving sales and customer satisfaction.
- • The primary objective of this position is to create and execute strategic sales plans designed to consistently achieve or exceed your assigned quarterly sales quota. This involves identifying, progressing, and closing sales opportunities for ServiceNow software licensing within your designated territory.
- • A key responsibility is to maintain an expert-level knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, its various component solutions, and SHI's complementary offerings. You will be expected to effectively communicate the value proposition of these solutions to clients, positioning SHI as a trusted partner.
- • Building and nurturing strong relationships with ServiceNow sales representatives is essential. You will collaborate closely with them to develop and implement effective sales plans tailored to your assigned territory, ensuring alignment and maximizing mutual success.
- • You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, taking the time to understand their current IT landscape and future roadmap. This insight will enable you to effectively drive the adoption and expansion of SHI's ServiceNow practice within the marketplace, positioning SHI as a strategic partner for their digital transformation journey.
- • The role involves proactive prospecting and qualification to identify new sales opportunities and develop ongoing revenue streams. This requires a keen ability to identify potential client needs and map them to ServiceNow solutions.
- • You will be responsible for arranging and conducting initial client meetings and presentations, effectively articulating the benefits and capabilities of ServiceNow and SHI's services.
- • Effective sales process management from initial contact through to opportunity close is a core function. This includes managing the sales pipeline, overcoming objections, and negotiating terms to secure deals.
- • Ongoing account management is critical to ensure sustained customer satisfaction, facilitate on-time renewals, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional ServiceNow solutions and SHI services, thereby driving incremental revenue.
- • You will be expected to proactively gather, organize, and present information to facilitate informed decision-making and track progress against sales targets. This includes reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and customer engagement.
- • A proactive approach to identifying areas for professional improvement and initiating relevant training programs is encouraged. Contributing to innovative learning methods within the team will also be valued.
- • You will proactively seek out opportunities to expand your professional network, initiate collaborations with internal teams and external partners, and contribute to overall team cohesion and success.
- • Identifying potential problems within the sales process or customer engagements and initiating preventive measures is key. You will also be expected to propose and contribute to innovative solutions to overcome challenges.
- • Setting challenging yet achievable goals for yourself and demonstrating a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets is paramount. This role requires a strong results-orientation.
- • You will need to synthesize complex data related to customer needs, market trends, and sales performance, identify patterns, draw actionable insights, and present findings clearly and understandably.
- • While not a primary data analysis role, an intermediate ability to understand and interpret data related to sales performance and customer engagement will be beneficial.
- • You will be expected to effectively communicate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing, and facilitate effective communication between clients and internal stakeholders.
- • Consistently using time effectively, balancing multiple competing tasks, and meeting deadlines are essential for success in this dynamic sales environment.
- • This is a remote-based position supporting an assigned territory, requiring occasional travel within the U.S. (up to 50%).
