  • • The Services Desk Advisor role at Hitachi Vantara is critical to bridging sales and professional services by translating customer needs into actionable service proposals, ensuring a seamless sales process and enabling data-driven innovation for global clients.
  • • Day to day, the advisor will manage service inquiries from sales representatives and customers, classify opportunities, select appropriate services from a predefined catalog, document requirements, escalate complex cases to the Solutions team, and maintain real-time updates in internal systems while building relationships across teams.
  • • Hitachi Vantara is a global leader in data infrastructure, empowering innovators across industries—from banking to entertainment—with resilient, high-performance solutions that enable automation, optimization, and customer impact, as exemplified by projects like the Las Vegas Sphere.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in Hitachi Vantara’s product and service portfolio, refine technical sales and CRM skills, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and grow your ability to consultatively position complex service offerings—positioning you for advancement in technical sales, solutions consulting, or service management.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in computing or in business with a computing related minor.
  • • One or more years of experience in technical sales, inside sales, or telemarketing.
  • • Business proficient in English and preferably one additional language (German, French, Italian, Spanish).
  • • Capable of leveraging CRM software and common computer tools including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web presentation tools.
  • • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle business conflicts.
  • • Strong interpersonal skills: friendly communication, active listening, and confident presentation abilities to engage sales teams and customers.
  • • Demonstrated capacity to understand technical topics and translate them into service recommendations.
