📋 Description

• • As a Backend Engineer (Python) at ShareCare, you will play a critical role in building and extending the API infrastructure that powers both consumer-facing and internal applications, directly impacting the scalability and reliability of the platform.
• • Day to day, you will develop and maintain new and legacy applications using Django Rest Framework, optimize performance and responsiveness, analyze requirements to design new functionality, identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, and integrate AI tools into your development workflow to enhance efficiency.
• • You will join a distributed engineering team at Silver.com LLC supporting ShareCare’s mission-driven health technology platform, collaborating asynchronously across time zones to deliver high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable backend services.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern Python backend development, gain hands-on experience with AI-augmented development practices, strengthen your skills in database optimization and containerized deployments, and grow as a collaborative problem-solver in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
