- • As the Senior Staff SI/PI Engineer, you will be the technical authority responsible for the electrical integrity of d-Matrix’s high-performance AI compute platforms, ensuring signal and power integrity across silicon, package, and system levels for next-generation AI accelerators.
- • You will lead end-to-end modeling, simulation, and correlation efforts—from silicon die through package and across system PCBA—driving SI/PI strategy for high-speed interfaces including PCIe Gen6/7, CXL, LPDDR5, and custom Chiplet-to-Chiplet interconnects.
- • You will work within a collaborative, inclusive culture at d-Matrix that values humility, direct communication, and diverse perspectives to solve complex engineering challenges in AI hardware innovation.
- • In this role, you will mentor hardware and layout engineers, establish SI/PI best practices, and translate complex simulation data into actionable layout constraints, directly impacting the manufacturability and performance of world-class AI hardware.
🎯 Requirements
- • MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on Electromagnetics or Signal Integrity.
- • 12+ years of experience in SI/PI design for high-performance networking, GPUs, or server platforms.
- • Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard SI tools (Ansys HFSS, Cadence Sigrity, Keysight ADS, or Simbeor) and PI tools (Ansys SIwave, Cadence PowerSI, or CST).
- • Proven track record with 112G SerDes and high-speed memory architectures, including deep understanding of PAM4 signaling and FEC impact on link margins.
- • Hands-on experience with 50GHz+ VNAs, TDRs, and real-time/sampling oscilloscopes for lab validation and measurement correlation.
