- • As an Enterprise Sales Director based remotely in Singapore, you will be instrumental in managing and expanding our enterprise customer base within this critical region. This role demands a proactive, curious, and strategically minded individual who can identify new business opportunities and cultivate growth within existing accounts. Your expertise in navigating complex, intrinsic sales cycles will be key to driving dbt Labs' continued success.
- • You will be responsible for building, managing, and closing your own pipeline of prospective companies that stand to gain significant value from the dbt Cloud offering. This involves a deep understanding of their data challenges and demonstrating how dbt Cloud can be the solution to unlock their data's full potential.
- • Beyond new business acquisition, you will also focus on deepening the dbt Cloud footprint within our existing enterprise accounts. This requires nurturing strong relationships, understanding evolving customer needs, and identifying opportunities to optimize our impact and expand usage across their organization.
- • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will actively engage with our technology partners and ecosystem service providers in the region to amplify our reach and enhance the value proposition we deliver to customers. This strategic networking will be crucial for expanding our market presence and driving joint success.
- • You will be a key contributor to the evolution of our sales processes. By leading and participating in team projects, you will help refine our go-to-market strategies, share best practices, and contribute to the overall growth and efficiency of the sales organization.
- • Your insights will directly influence our product development. You will work closely with the product team to provide valuable feedback from the field, helping to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap, ensuring our platform continues to meet the evolving needs of enterprise customers.
- • A significant focus of your role will be on proactive pipeline generation. You will employ a variety of strategies to identify and qualify leads, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities to fuel revenue growth.
- • This role requires a consultative approach, where you can translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for stakeholders at all levels, from individual data developers to Chief Technology Officers.
- • You will need to possess the diligence and organizational acumen to manage long, intricate sales cycles that often involve multiple client teams and decision-makers.

🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of closing experience in technology sales, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding annual targets.
- • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into a compelling, consultative sales narrative.
- • Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders from individual contributors to C-suite executives.
- • Strong organizational skills and the diligence required to manage long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams.
- • Proven ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment.
- • Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software is highly desirable.
- • Familiarity with SQL or a strong willingness to learn is a plus.
