• • As a Site Reliability Engineer / Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a robust, scalable, and highly available infrastructure that underpins our innovative applications across multiple cloud providers. This is a hands-on role where you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, automating critical operational processes, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure our systems are reliable, efficient, and can scale seamlessly with our rapid business growth.
• • Your core responsibilities will involve the end-to-end design, build, and maintenance of infrastructure across leading cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like Terraform to ensure consistency, repeatability, and manageability of our environments.
• • You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing sophisticated CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like Argo and CircleCI, to facilitate rapid, reliable, and frequent deployments, enabling our development teams to iterate quickly and confidently.
• • A significant part of your role will be managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters in production environments. This includes ensuring high availability, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining the overall health and performance of our container orchestration platform.
• • You will administer and fine-tune our cloud databases, including NoSQL solutions like MongoDB and Redis, as well as relational databases such as RDS, focusing on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• • Developing comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions is crucial. You will implement tools and strategies to proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues before they impact our users, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted experience.
• • A key objective is to automate routine operational tasks, thereby reducing manual toil, minimizing human error, and significantly enhancing overall system reliability and efficiency.
• • You will be an integral part of our incident response process, conducting thorough post-mortem analyses to identify root causes and implement preventative measures, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• • Close collaboration with development teams is essential. You will partner with them from the design phase to ensure that new systems and features are built with reliability, scalability, and operational excellence as core tenets.
• • You will be responsible for meticulously documenting our infrastructure architecture, creating detailed runbooks, and establishing clear operational procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
