- • The Skills Strategy & Architecture Sr Manager will lead a team of specialists to support Allstate’s new operating model focused on talent development and mobility, bringing a skills and capabilities mindset to life through a multi-year strategy.
- • Day to day, the role involves executing and measuring progress on a phased multi-year plan to move the organization toward an innovative approach to skills and capabilities management across the employee lifecycle, including assessments, talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance management, talent planning, rewards, and inclusive diversity and equity practices.
- • The role is part of Allstate’s HR and talent management function, working to define and execute a change strategy that transforms the organization into a skills-driven enterprise by implementing a skills taxonomy and ontology, validating skills across functions, and enabling data-informed talent decisions.
- • The person in this role will learn and achieve strategic impact by building relationships across businesses and HR centers of excellence, leveraging talent AI and automation to identify critical skills, forecasting evolving skills landscapes, and partnering with technology and HR leadership to evolve systems and tools that support a skills infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10 or more years of experience in HR, talent management, or related fields
- • Strong executor with understanding of emerging research, leading practices, and commercial software solutions for skills-based organization results, skills taxonomy, and ontology
- • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with demonstrated ability to use data and measurable insights to inform decisions
- • Fluent in digital strategies and technological advancements such as working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning strongly preferred
- • Deep expertise in HR and integrated talent management best practices and learning experience design with ability to build sustainable long-term strategies
- • Demonstrated track record of implementing a vision for seamless, integrated Talent Management practices to know and grow talent in support of key business priorities
