  • • We are actively building a talent pipeline for our upcoming sales class, with a confirmed start date of March 30, 2026, offering you ample time to prepare and integrate into our team.
  • • This position is based at our modern Etobicoke office, designed to foster collaboration and team spirit, while also offering the flexibility of hybrid work arrangements, allowing you to balance in-office engagement with remote work.
  • • You will report directly to the Manager, Sales Centre, a seasoned leader dedicated to guiding and supporting your professional growth within the sales organization.
  • • As an Inside Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire sales process from the initial point of contact through to the successful closing of the sale. This involves a proactive approach to business development.
  • • You will actively prospect for new business opportunities, complementing inbound lead generation by conducting strategic outbound calls and effectively managing leads provided by our valued partners.
  • • This role demands a self-directed and motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, consistently meeting and exceeding productivity standards through efficient time management and a results-oriented mindset.
  • • A crucial aspect of your role will be to maintain an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of Moneris Solutions' comprehensive suite of products, services, and pricing structures. You will also need to stay informed about ongoing marketing initiatives and possess a keen awareness of competitor products, their pricing strategies, their strengths, and potential market opportunities.
  • • To effectively serve our merchants, you will continuously educate yourself on current industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in commerce and payments, enabling you to provide insightful advice and solutions.
  • • You will be provided with extensive training programs developed by Moneris, which you are expected to actively participate in and apply to continuously enhance your sales skills, product knowledge, and overall effectiveness.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven sales experience with a demonstrated track record of consistently hitting targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • • Post-secondary education in business, commerce, marketing, or a closely related field; equivalent work experience will be considered as a substitution.
  • • Experience working within or selling to the restaurant, retail, or self-care industries.
  • • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating system.
  • • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the payment industry (nice-to-have).
  • • Bilingualism in Mandarin/Cantonese is an asset.
  • • Bilingualism in English/French is an asset.
