📋 Description

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise financial and lending systems in mission-critical environments.
• Provide technical leadership across application development, production support, and system integration initiatives.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex production issues spanning application, server, network, and security layers.
• Collaborate with system administrators to support infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and platform enhancements with minimal operational disruption.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications and services using Java, SQL, JavaScript, and ColdFusion.
• Develop and support API integrations utilizing REST and SOAP services within enterprise environments.
• Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and Agile teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive process improvements aligned with best practices and ensure compliance with federal development lifecycle standards.
• Support database design, development, and administration across multiple platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Provide production support leadership to ensure system reliability, performance, and high availability.
• Mentor developers, engineers, and support staff by providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Operate within Agile or sprint-based development environments to deliver iterative and scalable solutions.
• Maintain strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align delivery with business objectives.
• Ensure all systems adhere to federal compliance requirements and security protocols.
• Contribute to the modernization of legacy systems and support digital transformation initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in IT systems, software development, or enterprise applications
• Bachelor’s degree or additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
• Proven hands-on development experience with Java, SQL, JavaScript, and ColdFusion
• Experience supporting financial systems, lending platforms, or government-regulated systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance; must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
• Strong experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, PostgreSQL, MySQL), application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, EAServer), and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, Unix)
