- • Produce and edit short-form video content for organic and paid social channels including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
- • Film on-camera content that is entertaining, educational, and aligned with Givebutter’s brand voice and mission.
- • Support the development of new content formats and recurring social media series to increase engagement and audience growth.
- • Deliver a minimum of 16 organic short-form videos per month and assist in producing 6–8 paid social or UGC-style video assets monthly.
- • Identify and leverage trending audio, visuals, and social media behaviors to create scroll-stopping content that drives impact.
- • Collaborate closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to brainstorm creative concepts, test new formats, and refine content strategy.
- • Provide creative recommendations based on real-time social media trends and performance insights.
- • Support end-to-end content production for Givebutter’s flagship event and product launch, The Spread, including pre-launch, event-day filming, and post-event packaging.
- • Participate on-camera during The Spread event and related campaigns as needed.
- • Edit and package post-event content for distribution across social channels and marketing assets.
- • Work primarily remotely but be available for 1–2 in-person content production sessions per month in Los Angeles.
- • Operate as a self-starter who can take a concept from idea to execution with minimal supervision.
- • Maintain high-quality editing standards using CapCut as the preferred tool.
- • Contribute to a fast-moving, creative environment with frequent content iterations and testing.
- • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and tight deadlines tied to product launches and campaign cycles.
- • Ensure all content aligns with Givebutter’s mission to make giving fun and accessible for nonprofits and changemakers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Based in Los Angeles, CA, with availability for 1–2 in-person content production sessions per month
- • Proven experience creating and editing short-form video content for personal or brand social channels
- • Comfortable appearing on camera and delivering energetic, authentic performances
- • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and current social media trends
- • Proficient in video editing, with CapCut being preferred
- • Self-motivated with the ability to independently execute creative concepts
