  • • As the founding Social Media & Community Manager for Sky: Children of the Light in Brazil, you will establish the game’s first localized presence in the country, building social channels and community engagement from scratch to embed the brand in Brazil’s vibrant gaming and creator ecosystem.
  • • Day to day, you will develop and execute a locally relevant content strategy across Brazilian social platforms, engage players daily to foster connection and grow the local fanbase, identify and manage relationships with Brazilian creators and influencers across gaming, art, and lifestyle verticals, collaborate with global performance marketing to support user acquisition with culturally resonant assets, plan and execute brand activations around seasonal moments, represent Sky at local events like ComicCon Brazil and Anime Friends as an on-the-ground ambassador, and report on community sentiment, engagement metrics, and growth signals to inform global strategy.
  • • You will join thatgamecompany, an award-winning indie studio known for emotionally resonant, artistically driven games like Journey and Sky: Children of the Light, which prioritize kindness, courage, and compassion in both gameplay and workplace culture. The company is making Brazil a strategic priority for Sky’s global expansion, offering real ownership and full support from the global marketing team.
  • • In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape Sky’s cultural footprint in one of the world’s most dynamic gaming markets, deepen your expertise in community-led brand building in emerging markets, grow your influence in creator and influencer marketing, and contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven studio that values emotional connection and human kindness—all while working remotely with a globally distributed, passionate team.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in social media management, community management, or creator marketing, ideally in gaming, entertainment, or youth-facing brands
  • • Deep fluency in Brazilian internet culture, gaming communities, and social platforms, including knowledge of what resonates on Brazilian TikTok and Instagram
  • • Experience working with creators and influencers from relationship building to campaign execution, across micro to mid-tier levels
  • • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese, with English proficiency required for collaboration with the global team
  • • A genuine passion for Sky or similar emotional, artistic, community-driven games
  • • Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment while staying connected to the global team
