- • Own the voice of Circle K’s express car-wash division across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok—crafting scroll-stopping posts, reels, and stories that turn first-time viewers into loyal customers.
- • Build and execute a weekly content calendar that balances brand storytelling, promotional pushes, and community engagement; you’ll schedule, publish, and monitor every asset to ensure consistency and timeliness.
- • Grow followers, reach, and engagement through data-driven tactics: A/B test captions, hashtags, and posting times, then translate insights from Sprout Social, Meta Insights, and Google Analytics into actionable next steps.
- • Collaborate daily with Marketing, Operational Excellence, Operations, and HR to spotlight new car-wash locations, employee success stories, and behind-the-scenes moments that humanize the Circle K brand.
- • Capture on-the-ground content by traveling to Phoenix-Valley car-wash sites; film quick customer testimonials, site launches, and local events, then edit mobile-first videos in CapCut or Adobe Premiere for same-day posting.
- • Design eye-catching graphics in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite that align with brand guidelines while still pushing creative boundaries—think bold color palettes, punchy typography, and thumb-stopping motion graphics.
- • Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions in real time, providing friendly, on-brand responses that turn questions into conversions and complaints into compliments.
- • Report weekly KPIs to the Marketing leadership team: follower growth, engagement rate, click-throughs, and sentiment, using concise slide decks that spotlight wins and flag opportunities.
- • Stay ahead of social trends—whether it’s a new TikTok audio or an Instagram feature—then pitch innovative ways to integrate trends into Circle K’s content without losing authenticity.
- • Contribute to cross-channel campaigns (email, in-store signage, paid social) by repurposing high-performing organic assets and ensuring messaging consistency across every touchpoint.
- • Participate in brainstorming sessions with graphic designers, copywriters, and field teams to develop seasonal promotions, sweepstakes, and user-generated-content challenges that drive foot traffic to car-wash sites.
- • Maintain a living content library—tagged, organized, and rights-cleared—so future campaigns can be spun up in minutes, not days.
- • Shadow senior marketers on media-buy strategy and influencer outreach calls, gaining exposure to budget planning, contract negotiations, and ROI analysis.
- • Present a capstone project at the end of the internship: a full-funnel social campaign complete with creative mock-ups, KPI forecasts, and a post-mortem analysis that could be rolled out company-wide.
- • Work 10–15 flexible hours per week in a hybrid model—remote for content creation and analytics, in-office in Tempe for creative sprints, team stand-ups, and campaign kickoffs.
- • Leave the internship with a portfolio of real-world work, glowing references, and a deep understanding of how social media drives revenue in a 16,000-store global retail network.
