  • • Own and manage LemFi’s social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and X, with a focus on transforming X into a genuine engagement platform.
  • • Develop and execute a consistent, video-first content calendar that reflects the real lives, cultural moments, and interests of UK diaspora communities.
  • • Identify and act swiftly on emerging cultural trends, conversations, and viral moments before they reach mainstream adoption.
  • • Write sharp, platform-native captions and social copy that resonates authentically with LemFi’s audience across all channels.
  • • Build and nurture online communities where LemFi’s users feel seen, heard, and connected through meaningful interaction.
  • • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with creators, influencers, and community partners who authentically speak to UK diaspora audiences.
  • • Direct and collaborate with videographers, photographers, and external content creators to produce high-quality, culturally relevant visual content.
  • • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to derive actionable insights and continuously refine content strategy.
  • • Help shape and evolve LemFi’s brand voice and overall social media strategy to align with company mission and audience needs.
  • • Ensure all content feels authentic and non-promotional, prioritizing storytelling that mirrors real-life experiences of immigrants and diaspora communities.
  • • Maintain a strong aesthetic sense across all platforms, understanding platform-specific visual norms and audience expectations.
  • • Proactively identify content opportunities and execute without waiting for direction, demonstrating initiative and cultural intuition.
  • • Foster genuine relationships with audiences and collaborators, ensuring LemFi’s social presence feels human, not corporate.
  • • Translate cultural nuances into compelling social content that avoids missteps and builds trust within diverse UK communities.
  • • Work cross-functionally to ensure social media strategy aligns with broader product, marketing, and customer success goals.
  • • Stay informed on platform algorithm changes, emerging tools, and evolving creator ecosystems to maintain competitive edge.
  • • Use data-driven insights to optimize posting schedules, content formats, and engagement tactics for maximum impact.
  • • Represent LemFi’s values of sharp customer focus, data-led decision-making, ownership, and grit in all social interactions and content decisions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-5+ years of social media experience, ideally at a brand with a multicultural or diaspora-facing audience.
  • • Strong content creation skills — especially video — and a portfolio that demonstrates cultural relevance and creative instinct.
  • • Deep understanding of UK diaspora communities and how they engage with brands on social media.
  • • Hands-on experience across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and X.
  • • Experience managing influencer and content creator relationships.
  • • Strong written communication and community management skills.
  • • Comfortable directing shoots and working with external creative talent.
