  • • As the Social Media Manager for Sky: Children of the Light and thatgamecompany, you will lead the social media strategy for a globally beloved game known for its emotional storytelling and artistic vision, ensuring every post reflects the brand’s values while driving meaningful engagement and growth.
  • • You will own the day-to-day management and long-term evolution of Sky and thatgamecompany’s social presence, with a strategic focus on TikTok as a primary growth engine, blending internet culture with authentic brand storytelling to connect with both new and existing audiences.
  • • You will collaborate closely with brand, creative, creator, and regional community teams to align content with in-game events, brand activations, and global initiatives, ensuring timely, cohesive, and impactful messaging across all platforms.
  • • You will develop and execute a dynamic content calendar, create platform-native short-form video and static assets, and package materials for regional teams to localize and publish, maintaining consistency and quality across all channels.
  • • You will analyze performance data from posts and channels to extract actionable insights, test new formats and creative approaches, and iterate based on learnings to optimize reach, engagement, and community sentiment.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact for platform-related support issues, engage authentically with the community through comments and DMs, and amplify creator content to foster a vibrant, inclusive online ecosystem.
  • • You will share performance insights, strategic recommendations, and key learnings with the broader marketing team to inform cross-functional campaigns and elevate the brand’s social impact.
  • • You will stay ahead of platform updates, emerging trends, and best practices across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, and emerging platforms, ensuring thatgamecompany remains innovative and culturally relevant.
  • • You will help shape and scale branded content templates and creative workflows in partnership with the brand creative team, enabling efficient, scalable content production without sacrificing artistic integrity.
  • • You will contribute to a mission-driven culture where your work directly supports a game that fosters connection, kindness, and wonder — making your impact felt not just in metrics, but in the emotional resonance of a global community.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience managing social media for a brand, preferably in gaming, entertainment, or culture-driven industries.
  • • Demonstrated success in growing and optimizing TikTok presence through trend participation, content experimentation, and data-informed strategy.
  • • Strong understanding of internet culture, platform-native language, humor, and trends, with the ability to translate them into authentic brand content.
  • • Proficiency with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret performance data to guide creative and strategic decisions.
  • • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills, with experience working across creative, brand, and regional teams.
  • • Passion for Sky: Children of the Light and/or video games is a strong plus; familiarity with the game’s community and values is highly valued.
