  • • Build and grow Jerry’s organic presence across Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok—platforms where users actively discuss car insurance, repairs, and ownership—by creating authentic, platform-native content that resonates with real conversations
  • • Develop and refine Jerry’s community engagement playbook for each channel, defining when to post, when to reply, and when to stay silent to maintain trust and avoid performative branding
  • • Transform Jerry’s subreddits into active, trusted communities by fostering meaningful dialogue, moderating discussions with nuance, and encouraging user-generated content that reflects real customer experiences
  • • Design a scalable content and engagement strategy that leverages AI tools where appropriate without compromising authenticity or human tone, ensuring consistency across all platforms
  • • Collaborate with the Growth and Content teams to align messaging, tone, and campaign goals while preserving the unique voice of each community
  • • Track and report on key community health metrics including sentiment analysis, share of voice, referral traffic, and LLM citation rates to measure impact beyond vanity metrics
  • • Position Jerry as a helpful, non-salesy resource in high-stakes consumer spaces like personal finance and insurance by responding to questions with empathy, accuracy, and transparency
  • • Identify emerging trends, pain points, and conversation patterns within user communities to inform product feedback loops and content priorities
  • • Maintain a deep understanding of platform algorithms, trending formats, and community norms on Reddit, TikTok, and Quora to ensure content feels native, not imported
  • • Uphold Jerry’s brand voice by avoiding corporate jargon, embracing conversational tone, and prioritizing genuine value over promotional messaging in every interaction
  • • Act as the primary representative of Jerry in public forums, embodying the company’s mission to simplify car ownership through authentic, user-first communication
  • • Proactively monitor brand mentions and community sentiment across platforms to identify potential crises, misinformation, or opportunities for engagement before they escalate
  • • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives by providing community insights to Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to improve user experience and feature development
  • • Maintain meticulous documentation of community guidelines, engagement patterns, and performance benchmarks to ensure continuity and scalability across team members
  • • Balance rapid response needs with long-term trust-building, rejecting quick PR wins in favor of sustainable, organic credibility
  • • Ensure all community interactions comply with regulatory standards in fintech and insurtech spaces while preserving authenticity

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of experience in community management or organic social media, preferably in fintech, insurtech, or another consumer-facing regulated industry
  • • Deep fluency in Reddit, Quora, TikTok, and YouTube community cultures with a demonstrated ability to write in authentic, platform-native tones that earn engagement and trust
  • • Proven ability to turn complex, stressful topics (e.g., insurance, car repairs) into relatable, human, and compelling content
  • • Strategic mindset focused on building scalable systems and processes—not just viral content—with understanding of SEO and how LLMs cite online sources
  • • Strong analytical skills to measure and interpret sentiment, share of voice, referral traffic, and LLM citation data
  • • Dislike of corporate-speak and ability to communicate with the raw, authentic tone of native platform users
