📋 Description

• As a Social Media Manager at OpenAI, you will drive educational content that helps people understand and adopt AI products like ChatGPT and Codex, translating complex technology into accessible stories for global audiences.
• You will work closely with product, marketing, and creative teams to craft and execute evergreen social strategies on LinkedIn and YouTube, monitor usage trends, and ensure timely, accurate content delivery across cross-functional initiatives.
• You’ll join a mission-driven team at OpenAI dedicated to ensuring artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity, where your work directly supports public understanding and responsible adoption of cutting-edge AI.
• In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in AI product storytelling, refine your ability to synthesize technical concepts for diverse audiences, and shape how millions learn to use AI in meaningful, practical ways.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in social media management, preferably in technology or AI, with experience managing large brand accounts and publishing high-impact content at scale.
• Proven success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and growth.
• Strong cross-functional, operational, and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects, tight processes, and rigorous content tracking.
• Deep understanding of audience behavior across social platforms, especially LinkedIn, with experience tailoring content for diverse segments including professionals, students, and digital-native audiences.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, concise content for diverse audiences.
• A creative and highly practical approach to prompting, capable of designing prompts that showcase the real-world value of OpenAI products.
