- • As a Software Architect in Lifecycle Management at Okta, you will play a pivotal role in securing identities across AI and human systems by designing and leading the development of scalable, secure identity and access management solutions that power enterprise-grade cloud platforms.
- • Day to day, you will lead architectural design and implementation of new features for the Onboarding and Lifecycle Management platform, oversee complex technical initiatives involving 20+ engineers, collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical strategy, and drive engineering excellence through robust testing, monitoring, and operational best practices.
- • You will join Okta’s Identity Cloud team in Bengaluru, a global leader in enterprise identity management, where you’ll work on cloud-native systems that enable secure access across applications, devices, and users—helping organizations become more secure, productive, and compliant.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-scale Java systems, mentor junior engineers, shape technical strategy for identity security, and become a force multiplier by building frameworks that empower other teams to deliver high-quality, secure software at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of Software Development in Java, preferably with significant experience in Hibernate and Spring Boot
- • Deep understanding of design patterns, scalability patterns, security engineering, and object-oriented principles
- • 4+ years experience automating and deploying large scale production services in AWS, GCP or similar cloud platforms
- • Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or GraphDB
- • Strong communication skills and ability to work across functions and distributed teams
- • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
