📋 Description
- • As a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), you will play a critical role in supporting mission-critical applications for U.S. government clients, ensuring secure, scalable, and innovative software solutions that contribute to national safety and technological advancement.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack Java applications using Spring Framework and React-based UI, writing and reviewing code, troubleshooting technical issues, participating in testing and debugging cycles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets evolving client needs.
- • You will join GDIT’s Software Engineering team, a division of a global technology and professional services provider with 30,000 experts serving U.S. defense, intelligence, and federal agencies across 50 countries, where innovation in AI/ML, cloud, cyber, and digital modernization drives mission success.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise-grade Java and modern frontend technologies, gain exposure to federal IT standards and security practices, and have the opportunity to grow through internal mobility programs while contributing to impactful projects that shape the future of government technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- • 6+ years of software development experience with a strong emphasis on full-stack development
- • Proficiency with Java 17+, Spring Framework 6 (including Spring MVC and Spring Security), Hibernate 6, and RESTful API development
- • Professional experience building modern web applications using React (preferred), along with 3+ years of UI development using JavaScript and CSS
- • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle), build tools (e.g., Maven), source control (Git preferred), and cloud environments
