• • As a Software Development Engineer II at CSG Systems International, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in leveraging CSG’s Xponent platform to construct sophisticated operational marketing databases for a diverse clientele across various industry verticals.
• • Your primary responsibility will involve developing custom extensions to the standard data model, meticulously accommodating customer-specific data sources that may not be inherently represented. This ensures comprehensive support for advanced analytics, insightful reporting, and effective marketing activation use cases, directly contributing to our clients' data-driven strategies.
• • You will be instrumental in the data onboarding process and will actively support the development of our core Product modules, guaranteeing seamless integration and functionality across a wide spectrum of customer use cases.
• • A key aspect of your role will be integrating vast datasets originating from multi-channel client data sources, including web, ad delivery, email, app, and e-commerce platforms, into our robust database infrastructure (specifically Snowflake). The data you manage will be made readily available for in-depth analytics and reporting, empowering our clients to achieve data-driven marketing and personalization at scale.
• • You will work extensively with advanced data management frameworks and utilities, built upon cutting-edge big data and open-source technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, and MySQL. Furthermore, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting the platform on the robust AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• • A significant part of your contribution will be to productize custom-developed artifacts, integrating them seamlessly into the Xponent standard data model where applicable, thereby enhancing the platform's capabilities and reusability.
• • You will be tasked with creating and meticulously maintaining essential database artifacts and comprehensive technical documentation. This includes functional specifications, detailed design documents, and precise data models for all custom development efforts, ensuring clarity, consistency, and maintainability.
• • Designing and implementing rigorous test procedures will be crucial to guarantee the highest standards of data quality and integrity, ensuring that the data processed and delivered is accurate and reliable.
