- • As a Software Development Engineer II at HighLevel, you will play a critical role in building and scaling the core infrastructure of an AI-powered business operating system that supports over 1 million businesses globally, enabling them to automate, scale, and drive real customer outcomes.
- • You will design, develop, and maintain backend systems and full-stack features with a focus on high-performance, scalable architectures, contributing to a platform that processes over 4 billion API hits and 2.5 billion message events daily across 250+ microservices and 250 terabytes of distributed data.
- • You will join a global, remote-first engineering team of over 2,000 members across 10+ countries, where initiative, clarity, and execution are valued, and you’ll have the autonomy to own systems end-to-end in fast-moving, 0→1 environments.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in distributed systems, backend engineering, and full-stack development while contributing to mission-critical infrastructure that powers real-world business growth and innovation at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong proficiency in backend development with experience in building and maintaining scalable, high-throughput systems
- • Solid foundation in full-stack engineering with ability to work across frontend and backend layers
- • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and own systems from design through deployment and monitoring
- • Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias for action and execution
- • Familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and handling large-scale data workloads
