- • Lead two high-performing engineering squads—one in North America and one offshore—through the complete product-delivery lifecycle of Cority’s flagship Java-based EHS SaaS platform, ensuring every release lands on time, at scale, and with zero compromise on quality or security.
- • Own people management end-to-end: hire, mentor, and retain top-tier talent; conduct rigorous sprint planning and technical code reviews; craft individualized growth plans that turn promising engineers into domain experts and future technical leaders.
- • Drive architectural excellence by partnering with Product Management to translate the strategic roadmap into executable epics, balancing customer value with long-term platform health, performance, and maintainability.
- • Champion modern DevOps and SRE practices—automated CI/CD, feature-flag rollouts, telemetry, proactive monitoring, and blameless incident response—so your teams ship daily with confidence and sleep soundly at night.
- • Foster a culture of psychological safety and continuous learning where experimentation is encouraged, failures are mined for insights, and every engineer feels empowered to question, contribute, and innovate.
- • Institutionalize knowledge-sharing rituals—brown-bags, guilds, pair-programming, and internal tech talks—to eliminate single points of failure and ensure critical expertise is distributed across the entire organization.
- • Stay hands-on when it matters: dive into code reviews, performance tuning, and high-impact technical spikes to keep your skills sharp and lead by example.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, UX, Security, and Customer Success to ensure that every feature delights users, meets stringent compliance standards, and upholds Cority’s 35-year reputation for trust and integrity.
- • Measure what matters—DORA metrics, customer NPS, team health, and individual growth—and use data to continuously refine processes, tooling, and team structure.
- • Represent Cority at industry conferences, open-source communities, and customer advisory boards, amplifying our thought leadership in EHS technology and attracting the next generation of engineering talent.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building large-scale Java SaaS applications
- • 2+ years in a formal engineering-management role leading multiple teams (onshore/offshore model preferred)
- • Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade software on aggressive timelines while maintaining quality and security standards
- • Deep fluency in modern DevOps toolchains (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, observability stacks)
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- • Nice-to-have: prior exposure to EHS, sustainability, or compliance domains; .NET Core experience; mobile testing expertise
