- • Software Engineer at Prelude Security Inc. building Origin, an endpoint AI observability platform that helps organizations adopt AI safely and productively by providing end-to-end traceability and insights into agentic systems.
- • Own design and implementation across the full stack — from high-performance data ingestion agents and inference pipelines to backend services, infrastructure, and customer-facing React interfaces — shipping features from idea to release with high agency and product taste.
- • Join an AI-native engineering team where most code is written by agents; you will use and extend agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode while defining how AI-assisted engineering works at scale.
- • Collaborate with research and systems engineers to turn cutting-edge work into reliable production software, tackling challenges in distributed systems, streaming data, multi-tenancy, and performance optimization under real SLAs.
- • Learn and apply deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS, EKS), streaming platforms (Kafka), columnar stores (Clickhouse), and modern systems programming (Rust, Python) while contributing to a mission-driven platform used by critical organizations.
🎯 Requirements
- • AI-native engineering practice: prolific use of Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode with judgment to redirect agents when needed
- • Track record of building data-intensive systems at scale (millions of concurrent operations, high-throughput event processing)
- • Deep understanding of distributed systems principles: streaming, batching, backpressure, recovery, and consistency models
- • Performance engineering mindset: complexity analysis, profiling-driven optimization, and discipline under resource constraints
- • Modern systems programming experience, Rust preferred (problem-solving ability valued over specific language expertise)
- • Strong working fluency in Python across services, inference pipelines, and tooling
- • Production experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent), and event streaming (Kafka or equivalent)
- • Comfortable working in React frontend to deliver functionality to end users
- • High agency, with a track record of identifying important work and finishing it
