📋 Description

• • As a Software Engineer 1 - Backend at Abnormal Security Corporation, you will develop and enhance the customer onboarding experience and set up systems owned by the Customer Journey (CJ) team within the Multi-Product Platform (MPP) division. Your work will directly impact how enterprise customers move from evaluation to full deployment by improving the speed, reliability, and self-service nature of Proof of Value (POV) onboarding.
• • Day to day, you will build and scale backend services, automate manual steps in the onboarding process, and help decouple downstream systems from the onboarding pipeline. You will work across APIs, backend services, and data workflows to solve technical challenges related to large-scale customer provisioning, using Python or Golang in cloud-native environments.
• • You will join the Customer Journey (CJ) team, part of Abnormal’s Multi-Product Platform (MPP) division, which focuses on creating seamless, automated onboarding workflows for enterprise customers. The team operates in a hybrid model based in Bangalore, India, and values collaboration, asynchronous communication, and continuous learning.
• • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot, contribute to production systems used by enterprise clients, and grow your expertise in backend engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies while working on impactful, customer-facing features.
